Nos. 21 - 24

April brought a couple audio books and a couple paper books.

No. 21 was Stay with Me by Ayobami Adebayo. It was a good novel about a Nigerian family. But on audio, it was hard to tell when it switched back and forth between characters. I feel like I lost some of the story that way.

No. 22 was J.A. Jance's Payment in Kind:

A good mystery for bedtime reading.

No. 23 - When They Call You a Terrorist by Patrisse Khan-Cullors: 

Khan-Cullors is one of the founders of the Black Lives Matter movement, and her story is powerful. It's important for me to read these books and learn. You should read this one, too!

No. 24 was J.A. Jance again - The Hour of the Hunter:

Another bedtime read. This was different than her other books, weaving Native American lore into the story. Even though it was a bit of a standard murder mystery, I enjoyed this cultural peek, too!

Nos. 15 - 20

I'm still listening to tons of audio books while doing projects, mostly related to Mom and Eryn's move.

No. 15 was So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijoeoma Oluo. This was so excellent! I think it's the kind of book one should read every year. 

No. 16 was George by Alex Gino, the story of a transgender girl. So good!

No. 17: Real American: A Memoir by Julie Lythcott-Haims. Definitely recommend!

No. 18: All You Can Ever Know: A Memoir by Nicole Chung. Loved hearing the race perspective from an Asian American.

No. 19: Iris Johansen's Count Down. This one actually took forever to read. Not the best mystery I've read.

No. 20: Sing, Unburied, Sign by Jesmyn Ward. Not my favorite genre, but a good story.

I almost finished two more books... they will be first for April :)
