I ran my first race in September 2006. My sister, Eryn, and I had never run before and decided to train and run the Race for the Cure 5K. The week before, I threw in the Tigard Family Fun Fest 5K just for the heck of it.
I loved it and have been racing ever since. I'm not very fast, but I love the challenge, the event, the excitement, the nerves and the amazing feeling of accomplishment!
I also love dressing up for the occasion... and convincing friends and family to join me... perhaps you can tell :)
