Seven years ago, our world changed. On Sept. 11, 2001, I was watching the CBS "Early Show" when a plane flew into one of the NYC World Trade Center towers. No one was quite sure what was going on. The camera was pointed at the tower when a second plane crashed. I remember waking up Brad and telling him planes had crashed and they thought it might be terrorism.
I rode the bus to work at KOIN TV and I worked nearly around the clock for the next several days.
Today we remember.
