No-TV Tuesday: movie night

As usual, my No-TV Tuesday started with a trip to Winco for groceries. Armed with fresh ingredients, I made dinner for tonight, tomorrow and Friday - NICE! Tonight was just chili dogs (with Nalley veggie chili and Smart Dogs 'veggie protein links', but they really hit the spot.

Tomorrow's dinner is a new potato soup recipe... stay tuned!

Then we settled down in our home theater and popped in The Other Guys. Linus cuddled up too.
Lots of big-name actors.
It was an action/comedy about NYC cops.
Wow. Seriously one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It had some funny one liners, but that's about it. I guess it was entertaining enough, but not really worth a rental (good thing we use Netflix!). It was just plain stupid. But then during the credits came a slew of political statements about investment schemes and government bailouts and such. Not sure where all the seriousness came from. Bizarre.

But it was a very nice, relaxing evening - just what I needed!
