Happy and sad

Between my duties in CE2 and NovaNET, I work with lots of students every year. I'm always thrilled to see them graduate through CE2 and/or make up for past mistakes by earning credit through NovaNET.

But it's often bittersweet... their achievement means saying goodbye.
Alex started last year in my credit recovery class before moving into CE2. I have seen huge growth in his academics and his attitude and maturity. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him and being his friend. I will miss his smiling face and conversations that always start with "Dude!" :)
