A bazaar weekend

Thanks to Brad's folks, we spent a relaxing weekend at Eagle Crest resort in Central Oregon.

Saturday was bazaar day. First stop, Holiday Food and Gift Festival at the Deschutes County Fairground in nearby Redmond. We got there shortly after they opened, and the line wound around the lobby and right out the front door. We didn't know it would be so popular!
We scored coupons off the Internet and got in for $3 each; $2 each for Brad's "senior citizen" parents!

Some of us are very excited:
He's trying to get away... and failing :)
We scored some great deals and had lots of fun! Jingle bells, jingle bells! And I did not buy this hat:
We drove around the region in search of other bazaars and found a couple strange ones, including one at a school that had most of the lights off... like, you couldn't see the stuff they were selling. And no one seemed to notice that everyone was sitting around in the dark. Weird.

Our Tour de Central Oregon took us to Sisters, to one of Donna's favorite quilt shops. They have some really neat pieces on display. Donna's hoping to recreate this one:
After a day of running around, Brad and I hit up one of the resort gyms for some sweat time:
I distracted myself on the treadmill by watching the Duck game. Then we went back to the lodge and all watched the end of the game together! If you know Steve, Donna and Brad, you'll understand that was a BIG deal! Thanks for indulging me, guys :)

A nice weekend, indeed :)
