Spring sun = good motivation

Let me tell you, finding the motivation for an after-work run is way easier when the sun is shining!

Since today was the sunny, warm day of the weekend, I decided to get my long run out of the way now instead of waiting for Saturday's predicted rain and cooler temps.
I really struggled on the first half of this run. My legs are tired from my race and my body is tired from fighting a cold. But after about 4.5 miles, I warmed up and got into a good rhythm. Ended up doing the prescribed 8 miles at a 9:49 average: 
That included on-the-clock walk breaks at 3.0 and 6.0 miles.

Now what will I do with the rest of my weekend?? :)
