Gorge pedal

Brad wanted to bike in the Gorge for his day off. So we loaded up the bikes Friday morning and drove to the trail head at the Bonneville Dam.

We jumped on the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail and pedaled east to Cascade Locks:

We then pedaled west to Yeon State Park and saw some wildlife: a couple snacks, a bunny, two osprey, eight vultures and what we think was a bald eagle:

A little snack break before returning to the car:

It was really hot, but shade covered much of the path. And a cool wind from the west helped.
