No. 28 was Ah, Sweet Mystery by Celestine Sibley.
An old lady goes on the lam after her adult son is found murdered in her basement. A neighbor is convinced that she's innocent and helps solve the crime and clear her name.
This one had lots of twists, and I didn't know who done it until the end. A good, easy read for my trip to NYC.
