Turkey Trot (11/27/14)

Per family tradition, we started our Thanksgiving with a run.

This year, we did the ORRC Turkey Trot at the Oregon Zoo. It was mild and just a little drizzly at the start. (Unfortunately, Eryn has to sit out this one since she's recovering from a bought with pneumonia.) Ready to go!

It was a very hilly 4 miler that ended inside the zoo... with little chocolate turkeys:

I've never in my life run by elephants!

We wondered around for a bit, checking out the monkeys:

What a fun way to start the holiday!!

Then we spotted Mom and Dad running down the hill toward the finish:

This was a great race! We'll be back :)
