No. 24, another castoff, was Full Commission by Carol Brennan.
The main character is a PR specialist who gets tangled up in some real estate funny business. I liked this one because it was a little different - a little less "formula" than other mysteries.
However, I really did not like the main character's boyfriend. He was verbally abusive and several times made "threats" of physical abuse if she didn't do what he wanted. It was attributed to his "Irish temper" - but it made me uncomfortable. Plus - she went back to him at the end. Yuck.
