You know that line from the song about purple mountain majesty? I saw that today!!
I had an awesome fall evening run last night in Cook Park followed by a good run early this morning. I was out before the sun, running 30 minutes easy with six strides thrown in there.
By the time I turned east onto Durham Road, the sun was starting to light the cloudy sky, and it was purple all around Mount Hood!! Absolutely gorgeous! I wish I had my camera with me so I could have captured the beauty.
