Cheap date night

With all the busyness and stress of the past week, we decided the weekend called for a date night.

We got the house in order for Super Bowl and put in our training miles and then cleaned up for the 5:05 showing of Man on a Ledge at Bridgeport.
We had a coupon for a free drink if we bought popcorn. We never do that - it was a treat, though we could feel our arteries clogging and the sugar buzz was almost nauseating!
The movie was really good. It was suspenseful and not totally predictable. We're both glad we saw it.

The plan was to walk across the street to Qdoba to share a burrito (neither of us wanted a full meal after all the popcorn and Sprite). But we reached Native Foods Cafe and decided just to eat there.

We ordered the Saturday special, a portobello and sausage burger with sweet-potato fries, to split.
Excellent, as always! We're continually impressed by the food and service there.
Oh... the best part of the night? We had a leftover Regal gift card (from Ma and Pa for Brad's birthday - thanks!!), an Entertainment Book coupon, the free drink coupon, and we ordered and split the special. So the whole date, including tip, cost just $20.

:)
