A list of errands kept us busy on our day off work last week. And since we were heading to areas we don't often frequent, we decided to use our Entertainment Book to find a lunch spot. After driving to a deli that was no longer, we ended up at Lupe's Escape on TV Highway in Aloha.
The menu had several vegetarian options, which is always a bonus in my book. I get really tired of bean-and-rice burritos. Yawn.
Lupe's was really busy with a holiday, late-lunch crowd, but we were immediately seated and given chips and salsa. The chips were obviously store bought and not exciting. And the salsa was very sweet and not appealing at all. I was worried. At least we had a coupon.
But then came my vegetarian quesadilla, filled with cheese, black olives, green chilies, tomatoes and all kinds of amazing goodness:
Brad had the veggie nacho sampler - equally amazing:
We were very impressed with the food (minus the salsa) and will go back! We highly recommend this one :)
