Military honors

Family traveled from around the country last week to celebrate the life of Otis Eugene Wood, Brad's grandfather, who died Oct. 31 at age 87. Because of his service in World War II, Gene received military honors at Willamette National Cemetery. It was cold and clear Friday morning when we gathered for the flag ceremony.
They first unfurled and presented the flag.
Then it was refolded and presented to Barbara.
After the ceremony, Steve (Brad's father and Gene's middle son) said a few words and caused a few tears. Then it was picture time. First time in 17 years (I think) that "the boys" were all together.
