I took some books home for the summer so I could see what our CE2 students are reading. I thought I'd start with Secret Life of Bees.
I knew nothing about it except that it was girlie and had been made into a movie. It ended up being a quick read about women living in the south in the 1960s. I really enjoyed it! Read it.
