We were in the blazing sun for several innings... then came the sweet relief of the shade.
And guess what? THEY WON! They NEVER win when I'm in Seattle. SWEEP!

With a weekday game getting over about 4 p.m., we knew traffic would be extra horrendous. So instead of getting in line with all the fans and commuters, we went to Happy Hour at Fishermans on Pier 57:
We sat outside in the cocktail lounge... nice view!
The food was good but not great. And the service was bad. But the prices were terrific!

Before getting on I-5, we hit up our favorite thrift store -- the Salvation Army across the street from
Eryn found Crocs for $1.49 and a couple super-cute skirts, and Mom spotted some brand-new tent stakes to use with the marching band. I came away empty handed but still had fun browsing.
