Alaska cruisin' 2016: Endicott Arm

A major highlight of our June Alaska cruise was our early-morning trip up Endicott Arm.

We were scheduled to motor up Tracy Arm to see the glacier dropping into the water, but because of major ice blocking the way, we detoured to Endicott Arm.

Because it was Alaska during Summer Solstice, it didn't really get dark. So getting up super, super early (I think it was 4ish) wasn't that big of a deal. We bundled up, grabbed our cameras and headed for the top decks.
Iceberg!!!

There's the glacier!!!

Once we reached the glacier, the ship spun in a circle a few times to give everyone the fantastic views.
Not a bad view for some reading :)
Next up: Mendenhall Glacier :)
