Goodbye, old friends

The time has come.

In July, after about 250 miles, I traded my old running shoes for these shiny, new Saucony Guides.
About 350 miles later, they look a little sad. Or at least less-than-fresh:
That's what happens when you live in Oregon and run outside in the rain, snow, sun and mud. No treadmills for this runner!

I watch for sales and have a couple brand-new pair waiting in my closet. Time to try out these beauties:
