Brad convinced me Sunday to run a few miles with him - to recover and also to redeem myself after Saturday's long-run fail.
I did 8.72 miles Saturday and decided to do 4 more to finish off 13 for the weekend. I felt good and ended up doing 5.
I decided to run comfortable without worrying about pacing. It worked!
I had a solid run, and since I sprinted the last half-mile or so, I got my pace down to 9:40.
Doubt crept in after Saturday, but Sunday's miles felt redemptive - I'm feeling positive again.
